1st experience animating a rigged model

First time I animated a rigged model... I used the graph editor to make fine tune adjustments for the moving parts. Portraying a realistic looking leap with accurate gravity is a little difficult but I learned a lot by manipulating the keys in the graph editor.

1st Cut RotoScope

I also did an animation of the robot and adjusted some values (such as speed) using the graph editor.

We took video footage of the class, and I rotoscoped the robot model I did from an earlier post. This is the first cut of the video I still have a little work to do.

Maya Render of Old West Sheriff Office

A model I did in Maya of an "old west" Sheriff's Office... I applied textures and bumpmaps to achieve a more realistic scene.

Green Screen Practice

I took a video clip of a "wizard" in front of a green screen, added the background castle and then a bunch of effects in After Effects to produce the "power" particle system that follows the motion of the wizard's hands. Oh ya, and then since rendering took 30 minutes, I threw the video in Final Cut Pro and put, Trevor Rabin's, "Sorcerer's Apprentice" clip in the background.

Animated Text

I used After Effects cs5 to animate text. I used some text effect presets (and tweaked the settings) and then did some of my own text animations.
